Hurricane Ian

United Way of Greater Fall River has kicked off a campaign to collect much-needed funds for those living in the wake of Hurricane Ian, and you can help.

Anthony Lessa, Jr., a building custodian for the City of New Bedford, used vacation time to assist victims of the devastation of Hurricane Ian in Florida.

New Bedford has a special connection to hurricane-ravaged Fort Myers, Florida, where New Bedford Day is celebrated each March.
