Girl hit by car

Early this morning, a young girl heading off to school was struck by a car as she attempted to cross the street to get onto her school bus.

A 5-year-old girl reportedly ran into the side of car on Monday evening.  It happened at about 7 p.m. at Purchase and Sawyer streets.  She was taken to St. Luke's with some  minor injuries to her face.  The driver of the car stopped, and was not charged...
