Early Wednesday morning on July 22, 2015, an 2.3 magnitude earthquake shook the Southcoast. Our security cameras here at Fun 107 captured the devastation here in Fairhaven.
UPDATE 6:48 - There are now reports of two earthquakes striking the Southcoast within minutes of each other. The first quake is reported by the United States Geological Survey as a M2.4 earthquake, originating at 5:46pm 1.5 miles SSW of New Bedford...
At about 10:45 am a jolt was felt on parts of the Southcoast today. We felt it here at Fun 107 in Fairhaven and according to Facebook posts, some felt it in the South End of New Bedford, and parts of Mattapoisett.
An earthquake of 1.9 magnitude was reported by the Weston Observatory in Massachusettes just north of New bedford...
