Cops for Kids with Cancer

The New Bedford Police Department and Cops for Kids with Cancer donated $5,500 and gifts to support 18-month-old Mia and her family as she battles leukemia.

The association was able to donate $6,000. They exceeded the original goal of $5,000.

A 12-year-old boy in New Bedford is getting some extra support from police officers in his fight against cancer.
