Tom Brady received a belated birthday gift from the New England Patriots today, in the form of a new contract extension.

ESPN Boston is reporting that the Red Sox and David Ortiz have agreed to a one year extension of his contract.

Patriots fans can breathe a sigh of relief.  #12 is going to be a "Patriot for life."  Tom Brady signed a new 3 year contract with the New England Patriots today which will ensure that he will retire a New England Patriot.  The new contract will bring him through the 2017 season when Brady will be 40 years old...
