With the exception of one season, it has been nearly 40 years since someone not named Brogioli was the head coach of the Wareham Vikings.  Seventeen years and 313 wins later, Kevin Brogioli has announced that he is stepping down as the Wareham varsity boys basketball coach.

It has been announced that when the San Antonio Stars conclude their season this year, their star point guard, Becky Hammon, will trade in her sneakers for a clip board.

Senior Kevin Grow of Bensalem, Pennsylvania has Down Syndrome and is the team manager for the basketball team. He never dreamed that he would be the star of the last game of the season, but at the end of the game his coach put him in. He then went on to make FOUR three pointers in the closing minutes of the game...

This incident, capture on video, happend last summer. At the time the coach was arrested and charges were filed. Now, the coach has been sentenced to 15 days in jail.
