As millions of Americans head home for Thanksgiving on the busiest travel day of the year, the East Coast is dealing with a major storm. Here on the Southcoast, the storm is in the form of heavy rains and winds. We are receiving 2-3 inches of rain today, which is causing some flooding. To the right is a picture of water pouring out from under a manhole cover on Coggeshall Street, New Bedford.

Some flights have already been cancelled at Logan and TF Green Airports. There will be no ferries to Block Island today...ferry and air service to the Islands have also been suspended.
