President Obama To Vacation With The First Family On Martha’s Vineyard
The first family will arrive on Martha's Vineyard tomorrow to begin their 9 day summer vacation. The first Obamas skipped last year's summer vacation on "The Rock" due to the presidential election campaign.
They will not be staying at their usual spot, the 28.5 acre Blue Heron Farm which overlooks Tisbury Great Pond. The farm was sold to a British architect who had no interest in renting the property to the president. Instead, the president will be staying in a private home in Chilmark.
Some locals are less than thrilled because the secret service is shutting down one of the few main roads in the Vineyard town. The road will be closed off tomorrow and will remain closed for the 9 days that the Obamas are on vacation.
