Whenever there are animals in trouble anywhere, you know that New Bedford Animal Control Director Manny Maciel will pack-up and head to their rescue.   He did it after Katrina and countless other times.   Now Manny is headed to the Moore, Oklahoma area as park of a group from the national Humane Society.   Their task is to see that the pets of those who have lost their homes are care for.   They will be working to temporarily relocate those pets to shelters if need be, and to work with locals in Oklahoma to relocate shelters that may have been destroyed.   It's a tall task and Manny and other volunteers from across America will spend several days in the Humane Society hauler.   Want to help?   you can make a donation at the link below.
