New Bedford Police Investigate After Body Found at Elementary School

NEW BEDFORD -- Police are investigating after a body was discovered on the grounds of Hayden McFadden Elementary School on Saturday morning.

The man's body was discovered before 8 a.m. Saturday, after north end police units were sent for a welfare check on a person reported as lying down at that location, according to police.

Police say no foul play is suspected in the man's death.
