A visually impaired man accidentally ended up on the tracks on the Boston subway system today, only to be rescued by fellow travelers.

Transit officials say the man went onto the tracks at the Park Street Station at about 10AM this morning. In the video below it looks as if he did make contact with the electrified third rail, but he was reportedly not seriously hurt in the incident.

Fellow travelers were quick to pull him back up to safety and one man even jumps onto the tracks to get him back up. Brave guy.

The man was taken to Tufts Medical Center as a precaution, but has already been discharged.
