Larry Bird Scores 60 Points — “Back In The Day Cafe Flashback

Anyone who knows me knows that Larry Bird is my idol. Sure, I love Kevin Garnett and Rajon Rondo, and Paul Pierce, but when I was growing up, it was Larry Bird that I idolized. While I enjoy this current Celtics team, I'm too old to be idolizing them.

The year was 1985, and Larry Bird dropped 60 points on the Atlanta Hawks. Doc Rivers was playing against him but was no match. Take a look at this video and towards the end, watch how even the Atlanta Hawks players that were on the bench CHEERED for Larry and were stunned by what they were seeing!
