An Italian priest reportedly gave Pope Francis a 20-year-old car to make his way around Vatican City.    The white Renault, with 190,000 miles on the odometer was given to the pontiff last weekend.

Francis, who drove the car over the weekend, owned the same model car when he lived in Argentina.   Since being elected pope in March, Francis has urged Catholic officials to give up expensive limos in favor of cheaper modes of transportation.

The priest said he was surprised to get a phone call from the pope saying he accepted his gift.
