Stop and Shop is pulling certain kinds of Gerber baby foods from their shelves after a packaging defect was discovered.

The recall is on Gerber Organic 2ND FOOD pouches with pears, carrots and peas, as well as Gerber Organic 2ND FOOD pouches with carrots, apples and mangos, which could end up spoiling on the shelves due to an issue with the packaging.

Though some pouches of food may look fine, others could look bloated and have a distinct smell and off taste.

Three cases of gastrointestinal symptoms hav been reported by consumers so far, though none have been confirmed to have come from the possibly spoiled food.
