‘Facebook Home’ Software Puts It Front and Center on Android Phones

There were rumors for awhile that Facebook would be developing a "Facebook Phone" but it looks like that's not the case. Mark Zuckerberg introducing Facebook Home to the world which is designed to draw more users and be more active on the social network.

According to the New York Times, the mobile package software turns the Facebook news feed into the screen saver of a smartphone, updating it constantly and seamlessly with Facebook posts and messages.

Mark Zuckerberg made this statement,

Today, our phones are designed around apps, not people. We want to flip that around.

Facebook Home will be available to download from Google’s app store, Play, on April 12th. Zuckerberg strikes again.
