A Dartmouth man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries Friday after his motorcycle collided with a vehicle driven by a New Bedford man.

According to Dartmouth Police, officers and other emergency personnel were called to the area of 95 Russells Mills road on April 22 at approximately 3 p.m. for a report of a crash.

Investigation determined that a 2022 Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by a 53-year-old Dartmouth man, had collided head-on with a 2013 Dodge Charger driven by a 64-year-old New Bedford man.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with serious, but not life-threatening, injuries, police said.

The crash remains under investigation by the Dartmouth Police Crash Reconstruction Unit.
