If asked to enter a push up contest against a JROTC cadet, I think I'd politely decline. But a 10-year-old girl in North Carolina heard that challenge and thought "I got this."

On September 6th in Wilmington, North Carolina a fundraiser for Active Heroes was going on in what appears in this video to be a local mall.

JROTC cadets were challenging people to a series of fitness activities including a push up contest that 10-year-old Kaylyn Mintz felt she could win. And boy was she right! The cadet is clearly hurting, while Mintz just keeps going strong, doing more push ups in this video than I have probably done in the last year!

I should mention that Mintz is a competitive gymnast who trains 17-20 hours a week and is traveling with her coach to the USAG Olympic Training Center in Houston to try out for a position on the U.S. Junior Olympic team. She even has a GoFundMe page to help cover her travel expenses.

Still I am super impressed with this young girl, who also kicked the JROTC's butt in planks! She just might be my new fitness hero!
