Yes, Her Name Really Is Happy Thanksgiving

We'd like to wish a happy Thanksgiving to Happy Thanksgiving.  You could do that if you knew a woman in Minnesota who's named Happy Thanksgiving.

Dr. Happy Thanksgiving Reynolds says she got her moniker because of her parents.  She says her family never really settled down.   "We were very transient" she said.   "It was the '70's, so everyone had a different attitude."

Reynolds is now a pediatrician who says her name is a good thing because people always remember who she is.   When she seeks funding to help children she gets noticed.  The good Doctor celebrates her 43rd birthday on this year's Thanksgiving day, and says she is glad she wasn't born on Cinco de Mayo.
