The New York Yankees were eliminated from the Wildcard race last night. For only the 2nd time in the past 19 years, the Yankees will be not be a participant in Major League Baseball's post season. I know this seems small of me, but the fact that they aren't in the playoffs brings me a certain amount of joy. Don't get me wrong, nothing felt better than the Red Sox finally beating (and embarrassing) the Yankees in 2004, but there's just something about the Yanks sitting on the sidelines that makes me smile. For many Red Sox fans, there are two ways to define a great season...the Red Sox winning it all...and the Yankees NOT. H

Red Sox fans...do you agree?
