Would You Rather Work in Extreme Heat or Extreme Cold?

If you are stuck in a small congested office, you might wish you were working outside, but some jobs are much worse in extreme weather conditions.

With this heatwave in full effect, all of us at Fun 107 feel spoiled to be sitting in a nice air-conditioned room. We couldn't imagine doing hard labor outside today. I found myself alone against Gazelle and Abby with the preference of working in the heat rather than the cold. Personally, I want to be able to feel my fingers and toes while I work.

Since we work inside everyday, we opened the question up to our listeners who work outdoors: would they rather work in the extreme heat or extreme cold? It was a fairly clean sweep. Most of our listeners would rather work in the cold! Most said they can prepare for the cold by bundling up, but there is absolutely nothing you can do to escape the heat.

For those who are working outdoors stay hydrated and take breaks in a cool area, because it sure is a scorcher!
