The New York Times tweeted out a Peanut Butter and Pickle Sandwich recipe, and all of Earth hates it.

On Friday, the Times actually tweeted out the recipe, like, really? I love pickles and I'm a peanut butter fan too, but this is a bit much.

First of all, why do we need a recipe for that? The name of the sandwich IS the recipe. You need peanut butter and pickles, then to make it a sandwich throw it in some bread. That's a peanut butter and pickle sandwich. Why on earth would anyone need that written out in recipe form?

Secondly, when do we learn that some things we just shouldn't mix, no matter how much we love both? Bacon and popcorn, both delicious treats, but popcorn bacon or bacon popcorn as one? NO THANKS.

This is one of those things... leave them alone.

Twitter was obviously not a fan of this debauchery, and they let it be known.
