Winter Farmers Market Opening in Mattapoisett

The weather is getting chillier and if you're ready to bring some of your outdoor activities indoors, then the Farmers Market opening in Mattapoisett is for you!

This weekend will be the first indoor farmers market of the season at Old Rochester's Farmers Market. This indoor display of fruits, veggies, baked goods and more will happen every 2nd and 4th Saturday from October 24th through April 23rd from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the ORR Junior High School Gym.

So this weekend you can shop for everything from apples to eggs, pies to pumpkins and yogurt to yarn.

There are over a dozen different vendors for kick off weekend and more will be coming as the farmers market rolls on all winter long.

And if you join them for the opening weekend tomorrow, there will be free pumpkin decorating for the kids from 10a-1p.
