A simple test of fitness has shown to be effective in predicting mortality in a study of more than 2000 people.

Here is how to test yourself: Sit down on the floor. If you are able to get up without any assistance, meaning, no furniture, chairs, or other people, then your chances of living at LEAST another 6 years is great.

If you can't, then you better get to the doctor. If you needed a knee or one hand, not to worry, that still ranks well in the study. Here is a partial explanation from Dr. Arrujo.

"It is well known that aerobic fitness is strongly related to survival, but our study also shows that maintaining high levels of body flexibility, muscle strength, power-to-body weight ratio and co-ordination are not only good for performing daily activities but have a favourable influence on life expectancy.

Myself, Michael Rock, and Billy, put it to the test.
