Why You Might See People Dressed Like Bananas In Boston Tuesday

If your commute takes you up to Boston for work, then keep your eyes peeled for people dressed like bananas (see what I did there!)

Tuesday October 3rd is National Fruit at Work Day and a company called The FruitGuys are celebrating across the country.

According to Boston.com, the company plans to have folks dress as bananas and hand out bananas from 6 a.m. - 11 a.m. at Copley Square, Boston Common, the Faneuil Hall Hubway station, Downtown Crossing, and South Station.

The plan is to give away about 500 bananas, so if you see these yellow fellows, grab one for you and one for a friend!
