Why Criminals Should Start Leaving Their Cell Phones At Home

Most of us carry our cell phones with us nearly every hour of every day, but if you're about to commit a crime...you may want to think about leaving the phone at home.

Not that I'm pro-robbery or anything, but a tip to those who are planning one, don't keep your cell phone in your pocket.

Another set of alleged criminals got themselves caught last week when they pocket dialed 9-1-1 while in the middle of their crime!

According to authorities in Minnesota, three would-be burglars were accidentally on the phone with the local 9-1-1 dispatch for over a half an hour. Plenty of time for the authorities to figure out a robbery was going on in the background of the call and pinpoint exactly where the men were.

The call even ends with the men heard saying "I think I see the police" followed by sounds of running.

Police arrived to find that a Mankato, Minn. supply business had been ransacked, with cash and other items taken. Three men were taken into custody and can pretty much blame their butt dial.

I'm sure the police are thrilled with these lawbreakers, cause they make themselves so darn easy to catch!
