Why Are Legos So Expensive

gettyimages

My daughter has two hobbies that she loves. The first is the very expensive American Girl doll hobbie. I’m sure you are aware of how much these dolls cost. Then there are the clothes, accesories, and all the other various things that go with it.

Her second hobbie is Legos. I will admit they certainly are fun to build and she certainly loves to do it, but WHY are they so much money? I was shocked at the cost of them when we first started to shop. The Lego Friends “boat” is $80.00! A simple helicoptor is $25.00!

Aren’t these things made of plastic? Lego land has taken over the house, and drained my pocket! Well, time to go on ebay and look around and hope for some bargains.
