I've been noticing something weird lately, I'm finding lady bugs in my house every day!

I didn't think lady bugs were around in the wintertime...well, I don't remember seeing them in the winter in the past. I don't think they are taking over my home or anything, but I do find them every single day in the weirdest places! I keep finding them in my cats' water bowl. Every day lately, I go to change their water, and there they are, a couple of dead lady bugs floating in the fountain! I hate that I wasn't able to save them, I don't want them to die, but I have no idea how they are getting into my home and why they are going to the water fountain for the cats. I guess they are thirsty!

I also found one in my living room the other day, it was crawling on my tv screen. I tried to save it, but I ended up squishing it by accident. I hate it when that happens! I always try to save bugs...it doesn't always work out, but at least my intentions are good!

Any ideas on how the lady bugs are getting into my house and why they are going for the cats' water bowl?
