There is a burning question that I've had for so long. Simply put,  when is it acceptable to go no shirt for Halloween (if ever)?

For those of you that don't know me, I am super cheap. So when I was invited to a Halloween party last night I initially declined because I didn't want to go out and spend an outrageous amount on a costume that I'd wear once and never see again. But then the host said I can just make up something up and I'll be fine. So being the lazy bum that I am, I scrounged up whatever I could find in my room to avoid fomo (fear of missing out). This is what I came up with...

If you can't see that here it is again...

I came across my old Guitar Hero guitar and the idea of a rockstar snowballed from there. Originally I was going to go with a shirt, but then I felt like that wouldn't be very rock n roll. So against my lovely date's wishes, I went sans shirt.

Now from my own view point, whenever I see some jacked dude going shirtless, I always think it is so cliche. Everyone knows that even though they say they are going as some "edgy vampire", they really just want to show off. Now I'm neither jacked nor am I really fat. So my question is, is there an acceptable way to go shirtless? Whether it's to save money, to show off, or simply because you just can't come up with a good costume!
