What Your Guy Really Wants for Valentine’s Day
For all of you ladies who are still struggling with that perfect gift for Valentine’s Day, here’s a little something for everyone!
Personally, I’d go with a throwback logo, red sweatshirt as opposed to a Super Bowl 51 model. While the Super Bowl themed garb is always great the week after the Super Bowl win, I’d recommend something more of a classic look.
No secret that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach…and what better food than a juicy steak. Portuguese steak? Even better. Think Top Shelf or End Zone and you’re off to a good start. Going out for the steak is always great, but if you want to do it at home…that’s fine too. My two tips? Marinade, baby. And grilling is a must…no frying a steak. We’re in New England…I’ve grilled in the middle of a blizzard. No need to let a little snow on the ground ruin a good steak.
Dorothy Cox Chocolate Covered Almonds
Again…the stomach….but this time we’re going sweet instead of savory. They say chocolate is an aphrodisiac…so chocolate covered anything sounds good. I prefer almonds…but whatever floats his boat.
Games For Your Gamer
I’m not a big gaming guy, but I know there are a lot of these guys out there. Chances are your man would love the latest Madden!
There’s nothing like the smell of Armor All to really get a guy going! Nothing says I love you more than giving the gift of a perfectly manicured interior. You might not care about Dunkin Donuts straw wrappers piled on your seat…but trust me…he does.
Red Sox Tickets
You can stick with a red Valentine’s them by giving him a couple of tickets to head up to Fenway. It’ll be something fun to look forward to when the weather gets warmer…and it’ll be a great date night for the two of you. Not to mention, the Red Sox have beefed up their starting pitching a bit over the off season…including a guy named Chris Sale you’ll start hearing a lot about…so it should be a decent year (even without Big Papi).
I mean, really…do I even have to say it? Whether or not your guy will admit it to you…this kind of stuff is on the very top of his wish list. You in anything girly is great, but it doesn’t even necessarily have to be traditional lingerie…you could even get away with buying yourself an outfit that makes you feel “frisky”. Did I just give you permission to go buy yourself an outfit for Valentine’s Day? Why, I think I just did! But remember…this is not just about you getting a new outfit. This isn’t exactly about you getting a new pair of sweats or snow boots.
