It's almost here- the first ever Red, White & Brew Craft Beer Festival at Buttonwood Park Zoo!  Are you going?  Here's some things you'll want to know.

Tickets:  Pre-sale tickets will be available online until Friday at noon and can be purchased here.  All remaining tickets will be sold at the door (cash only) on a first come, first serve basis beginning at 5pm.  This is absolutely a 21+ event, no exceptions (including babies).

Doors will open at 5:30p. Have your tickets ready, either on your phone or printed. We will have multiple folks scanning tickets to make the wait as minimal as possible. The NBPD will be ID'ing everyone so make sure you have your ID's handy, too!

Parking:  The zoo parking lot is available for this event (use the Hawthorn Street entrance). Overflow parking (and police detail) will be available at the Synagogue on the corner of Brownell Street and Hawthorn Streets.

Souvenir Sampling Glass and Map:  Each person will receive a souvenir sampling glass to use throughout the night as well as an overview map of event. You may sample as much as you'd like during the event but please know that pourers and brewers will be using their discretion if someone appears to have had too much to drink.

Food: There will be multiple food options at this event and the Bear Den Cafe will be open for business!

Music:  Two of the Southcoast's favorites will be on hand to keep this night full of signs and sounds. Craig DeMelo will be near the carousel and Rebecca Correia will be hanging out with coyotes Cody and Edison.

Vendors:  We've got some great vendors sprinkled throughout the zoo, including Chubby Chico Charms, Adega Beer & Wine Making Supplies and Colonial South Chevrolet. Swing by the Adega booth for your chance to win Lana Del Rey tickets for her show on Tuesday, June 9th.

Red, White & Brew Merchandise:  12oz glasses, custom BPZ Chubby Chico Charm bracelets and event tee shirts are available to buy. As always, all merchandise purchased directly benefits Buttonwood Park Zoo’s enrichment programs.

Zoo Details:  Although the event itself is contained to a portion of the zoo, the zoo is open and available for you to stroll around.  If you haven't been in a few years, this is a nice way to get reacquainted with some of your childhood favorites. The carousel won't be running but feel free to take your photo on the elephant, giraffe or any of the other fun animals!

You Don't Have To Go Home But You Can't Stay Here: This party shuts down at 8:00pm but that doesn't mean your night is over.  Your Red, White & Brew ticket includes a coupon for Buster's Sports Bar & Grill just down the street and they don't close until 1:00am!

If you aren't comfortable getting behind the wheel- DON'T.  Yellow Cab and Bluebird Cab are already aware of our event and will be available if needed. If you're feeling adventurous and want to try using an Uber driver, ask us about our discount code to get you $20 off your first ride- its kind of fun!
