What Holiday Wish Week Means to Me

Holiday Wish Week has arrived here at Fun 107. The United Way of Greater New Bedford introduces us to local families in need. We spotlight their stories on the radio, and the magic begins.

I love Holiday Wish because it symbolizes the generosity of people here on the SouthCoast. I love Holiday Wish because it focuses on families that are our friends and neighbors. Sometimes we don't exactly know where our money is going when we decide to donate to a cause. With Holiday Wish, you'll see the faces, hear the voices and know exactly what your gift will accomplish. It might help a single mom pay for a tuition bill and buy her little girl a "My Little Pony." It might help a family with a sick child get their car fixed for their drive up to Boston Children's Hospital for testing.

Fun 107's Holiday Wish Week introduces our audience to families that will touch your heart. You'll hear the same local business you support stepping up to the plate to help local families. You'll also hear families of all income levels sharing just a little bit of their 2018 holiday spending with a Holiday Wish family.
