What Do 9 Out Of 10 Of Us Agree On?

What can 9 out of 10 Americans agree on?  Survey says:  not much.  That's partly because the big polls are designed to explore differences, not to document what unites us.  Still a few questions discover 90% agreement.   Nearly all Americans believe in God.  Most of us are very patriotic.  We also consider preventing terrorism a very important goal.  Most American's admire those who get rich by working hard and we think society should ensure everyone has an equal opportunity to succeed.   There are a couple of other things that 9 out of 10 of us agree on.  The importance of getting more than a high school education, it's wrong for married people to have affairs, and favoring sex education in public schools.   Sounds like some pretty great things for most of us to be in agreement upon.  Nothing silly about any of those poll questions.
