Westport Girl’s ‘Daisy Troop’ Give Back To Westport Police

With all the violence and disrespect Police receive these days, it's nice to see something positive for a change.

A local Girl Scout group out of Westport, MA called "Daisy Troop 1045" decided to cheer up the local Westport Police Department by bringing them a little gift.

The young girls gave the officers a bag filled with candy and a description to each treat that reads:

Lifesavers: To remind you that you are often one.

Peppermint Patties: To help you keep your cool.

Mounds: For the mounds of courage you have.

Starburst: For when you need a burst of energy.

Gum: To help you and your fellow officers stick together.

Tootsie Rolls: To help you roll with the punches.

(Hershey) Kisses: Because we love having you in our town.

Smarties: To give you the wisdom for split second decisions.

Laffy Taffy: To remind you that laughter is a great stress reliever.

This simple bag of candy full of messages and inspiration caught my attention and my only hope is that is catches the attention of others as well!
