Watermelon Oreos Are Here For The Summer

Watermelon is definately one of the signature tastes of summer. Just the other day my son and I were gnawing on some, spitting seeds everywhere. It's so sweet and delicious, but would it make a great Oreo flavor?

According to the L.A. Times, Nabisco is launching limited edition Watermelon Oreo flavor for summer. And it's not going to be just watermelon either. There will be banana split, coconut, chocolate berry burst, ice cream rainbow sherbet, and strawberry milkshake varieties too.

Oreo decided to color its cream red and green for the "watermelon" effect. The cookie portion of the cookie is the signature "golden" color. So no black and white signature will be a part of this cookie.

The Watermelon Oreo cookies are in Target stores and will be available while supplies last.
