If you're child goes to school in Westport, then you need to see this. A contaminant called Manganese was found in the school water. Although not life threatening, the World Health Organization has made efforts to raise awareness.

What is most surprising is that just last year, a $20,000 water filtration system was installed in the district. Initial tests showed that the system was working well even showing 0 in most test results for Manganese. Unfortunately, as of the past couple of weeks, the contaminant has been seeping throught the filtration system and remaining in the water. A certain amount of Manganese is allowed in water for schools, but in this case the levels are too high.
