White smoke has risen from the Sistine Chapel, thankfully my webcam captured the entire event.
Latin America has its first Pope as Cardinal Bergoglio from Argentina has been selected. He was an unexpected pick by the Cardinals, because many thought they would pick a younger man to take over as pope. Pope Francis I takes over as the new Pope at the age of 76.

He has chosen the name Francis I as the 75th Papal Conclave comes to a close. Just in time for Easter!
