Warwick PD Offering Rides Home For Party Goers Tonight

If you live in Warwick RI and will be out tonight celebrating St. Patrick's Day and know you probably won't be able to drive after having a few, the Warwick PD is doing something really nice tonight between 6p and midnight.

I just got a call from Colleen over at the Warwick PD and she confirmed to me that the police department is indeed offering a free ride home this evening to anyone who feels they should not get behind the wheel after a night of drinking.

The department wants people to have a safe ride home even if it means they only get one call.  They feel that’s a success because that’s one less intoxicated person on the road.

This may become a catchy trend for holidays like St. Patrick's Day where alcohol consumption is very likely.  Post your town or city below if you'd like to see this service provided by your local police department :)
