A Warwick, RI man was charged with driving under the influence after police said his 10-year-old son called 911 to report that he and his sister were in the car being driven by his drunk dad.    The call went to Rhode Island State Police at about 11:30 Wednesday night from the boy who said he was with his 12-year-old sister in the back of a Mercedes that was speeding down I-95.   The boy told police that he was in fear for his life and that he considered jumping out of the car.

Moments after the call, their vehicle crashed into a Jeep near exit 91 in Stonington, CT.   49-year-old Owen Gilman of Warwick wasn't hurt, but his daughter and son were treated at a hospital for cuts and bruises.  One person in the jeep was also injured.

Gilman was arraigned Thursday and released on $25,000 bail.  He's due back in court on August 19th.
