Two men have been arrested after an early morning stabbing in Wareham.

Police say officers arrived on Penikese Street around 11:30 Wednesday morning and found a 38-year-old man lying in the street with a stab wound in his back.

He was taken to Rhode Island Hospital with non-life threatening injuries and shortly after police found the two suspects near the sight of the stabbing.

NECN.com reports that an argument led to the injury and the unnamed suspects are being held at the Wareham Police Department for booking and questioning.
