Great Job by the Wareham police for getting drugs off the streets

Wareham police arrested a woman recently after finding her standing outside her car barefoot and appearing intoxicated. Police report finding a large amount of assorted drugs.

According to a Wareham police release, officers responded to a reported altercation between a woman and two men in a car near 420 Main Street around 1:30 a.m. When officers arrived, they found 32-year-old Victoria Quintal of Fall River standing outside the vehicle.

Officers found a clear plastic baggie containing seven individual packages of heroin. A digital scale and more plastic baggies were recovered.

A further search of the vehicle revealed two baggies containing 20 Oxycodone pills, a plastic baggie containing 40 Diazepam pills, a plastic baggie containing 3 Suboxone pills and a metal container with a plastic baggie containing a small amount of crack cocaine, 4 Oxycodone pills, a small amount of powder cocaine and a small amount of marijuana.
