Walmart is blaming Tracy Morgan for the injures he sustained from the June accident because he wasn’t wearing a seatbelt.

According to Page Six, Comedian Tracy Morgan is being blamed by Walmart for the major injures he got after the accident that happened a few months ago because he wasn't wearing a seatbelt. One of Walmart's tractor-trailers rammed into Morgan’s limousine on the New Jersey Turnpike on June 7th and caused Morgan to have a broken leg, nose and several ribs.

The company was quoted in court saying, “Plaintiff’s injuries, if any, were caused by plaintiff's failure to properly wear an appropriate available seatbelt restraint device”. Morgan’s attorney, Benedict Morelli says Walmart is way out of hand trying to blame Morgan who ended up being hospitalized for his injures for weeks.

The attorney continued to say that Walmart holds full responsibility since it was one of their drivers who crashed into Morgan’s Mercedes-Benz limo which was carrying Morgan and several other friends. One of the friends and a fellow comedian, James “Jimmy Mack” McNair was killed during the accident while two others were seriously injured. Walmart was also blamed for allegedly forcing drivers to put in too many hours of work.

Tracy is struggling and struggling and he’s sitting in a wheelchair and they’re blaming him. It’s disgusting

Kevin Roper was the driver of the tractor trailer and was going 20 miles over the speed limit when he fell asleep at the wheel. He allegedly had been awake for more than 24 hours before the crash.

Morelli continued his deposition saying, “After Walmart told the public and their customers that they would take full responsibility, the put responsibility on my clients and the deceased”.“Tracy is struggling and struggling and he’s sitting in a wheelchair and they’re blaming him. It’s disgusting”.
