Wallet Stolen at Market Basket

A woman's wallet was stolen from a cash register at the Market Basket on Sawyer Street Sunday morning. 

Upon checking out, a woman left her wallet a the cash register and walked away, according to New Bedford Police Det. Capt. Steven Vicente.

When the woman returned, her wallet was gone. It contained cash, identifications and personal information.

The woman suspected of stealing the wallet was caught on surveillance footage. Anyone with information on her identity is asked to contact Officer Greg Sirois at 508-991-6360 or leave an anonymous tip at 508-961-4584.
