VP Joe Biden Will Visit UMass Dartmouth On Saturday

The Vice President of the United States will be on the Dartmouth campus to help the campaign of US Senate candidate Ed Markey.   The special election to fill the seat vacated by John Kerry is next Tuesday.

The event will be held in the Claire T. carney Library on Saturday afternoon.  It's free and open to the public, but you will need a ticket.   They will be given on a first come, first served basis.  They are available at Markey campaign headquarters at 486 Pleasant Street, New Bedford; 25 north Main Street, Fall River; and 4 Winthrop Street, Taunton today and tomorrow from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.
