Sister Rose's House is a shelter for men located near downtown New Bedford. The facility is operated by Catholic Social Services (CSS), and is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The shelter offers a wide range of services and relies heavily on volunteers.

The facility is in need of volunteer teams to cover some weekend hours. Each team consists of three or four people. The hours are Saturdays and Sundays from 3:30 in the afternoon until around 6 p.m. Volunteers are not required to cover shifts on both days if they are not available.

Sister's Rose's House is an important part of leading those to recover from their homeless situation. The shelter offers job skills training and other services that will help the persons to escape the situation that led them to their homelessness.
