[UPDATE] Cause of Death of Ex-Fun 107 DJ Determined By Police
It's been just a little over three months since the shocking news of former Fun 107 DJ Jarod 'J-Rod' Gagnon's death rattled the station. With little evidence at the time, everyone was left puzzled and uneasy not knowing what had happened the night of the horrible car accident.
Two drivers- Joseph Arraiol, 50, of Taunton, and Samantha Kewer, 20, of Taunton were caught up in a road rage argument that led to a chase, early in the morning on June 25th. The chase ended when one of the vehicles collided with Gagnon's, resulting in his death.
With the help of the Taunton Police Department and the general public, a final conclusion of what had happened the night of Gagnon's passing is a bittersweet relief, yet still dreadfully saddening. As for Arraiol and Kewer, they have been charged with motor vehicle homicide by negligent operation.
Gagnon's Family wished to keep from commenting on the arraignment in respect of their privacy.
Gagnon was only 32 years old, leaving behind his family and friends, his wife whom he married back in September of 2012 and his unborn child.
