Two men have been transported to St. Luke's Hospital after they were found nodding off in the booth of a local Taco Bell.

Dartmouth Police Spokesman Detective Kyle Costa tells WBSM News an employee observed the two men starting to doze off while sitting in a booth of the Taco Bell near the North Dartmouth Mall Wednesday afternoon. Recognizing the signs of a potential overdose, the employee alerted others in the restaurant to the situation. A Dartmouth Police Officer happened to be in the parking lot and was notified as well.

The two men, 21 and 17 years old, both of Dartmouth, were transported and treated for suspected heroin overdoses.
