Two Bald Eagles Crash Land At Airport After Midair Battle

Here's something do don't see everyday, a crash at an airport. Which is a good thing, but here's the kicker, when it does happen its usually airplanes. not eagles. Yes, I said eagles. American Bald Eagles to be exact. Two of them were fighting it out ferociously in midair when they locked talons and in a very rare spectacle of nature, they were unable to disengage before crashing to the runway.

According to GrindTV, mature eagles will sometimes fight over territories and will do battle in the air, crashing into each other and grabbing an intruding eagle with their talons.

One eagle escaped while in transport to a rehab facility by jumping out of the tailgate of a moving truck, the other hung around to be fed medicine and food.
