Truck Fire at Dartmouth’s New York Bagel

DARTMOUTH - District 3 firefighters in Dartmouth quickly extinguished a car fire early this morning.

Crews were called to the parking lot of New York Bagel on Route 6 near Faunce Corner Road at 6:46 a.m. Thursday for a fully involved truck fire. District 3 Captain Corey Pimentel tells WBSM News the fire was under control in about five minutes. The truck is a total loss.

The fire caused minor damage to the building, but did not spread to the structure.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

New York Bagel is open this morning.
