Jose has regained some strength and is now back to a category 1 hurricane moving up the Atlantic Ocean.

As of 5 PM on Sunday, the sustained winds are now at an estimated 90 miles per hour with gusts reaching 115 miles per hour.

Although we aren't expected to take a direct hit, a Tropical Storm Watch was just posted from East Rockaway, NY to Plymouth, MA including the entire Rhode Island coast and the Cape and Islands.

ABC 6 Chief Meteorologist Jeff Desnoyers says the Southcoast will be seeing wind gusts as high as 30 to 40 miles per hour on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.

Jose will continue to move north through Tuesday evening with a slight turn northeast late on Tuesday night into Wednesday. This area can expect up to 3-5 inches of rain as well as higher than normal tides.
