FAIRHAVEN – A Fairhaven home was damaged during what is hopefully Old Man Winter’s last stand Tuesday.

Fairhaven firefighter Wayne Oliveira says a large pine tree snapped and fell onto the roof of the home at 9 Grove Street.

No injuries were reported and the family was allowed to stay in the home as the Fairhaven Building Commissioner determined the mishap did not pose a structural hazard to the house.

Oliveira says other than debris and broken tree limbs, there was no other major damage as a result of the storm.
